Scope of Work: The City is currently developing the acquisition plan and strategy for the future General Government Services effort. The City is planning on issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for General Government Services in early 2011. This effort includes the following service groups:
1) Finance – Revenue, purchasing, accounting, budget and general administrative staffing support.
2) Information Services – IT infrastructure and support, and GIS services.
3) Communications – Community relations, electronic communications, media relations and annual report.
4) Municipal Court Services – Court administration.
5) Call Center – 24/7 information clearinghouse for City services.
6) Traffic Services – Traffic signal operation, traffic management center, traffic studies, traffic signal maintenance, and striping.
7) Transportation Planning – Strategic planning, operational planning, right-of-way, relationship coordination, roadway and right of way mapping support, and plan review.
8) Stormwater Management – Construction and project management, and infrastructure maintenance.
9) Field Services – Pavement management, utility coordination, right-of-way maintenance, bridge maintenance, and emergency road services.
