Public Notice Receipt of PPEA proposal

The Middlesex Water Authority has accepted an unsolicited proposal for conceptual-phase consideration under the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002 (PPEA), Virginia Code 56-575.1 through 56-575.18 for the creation of a central water system in the Village of Deltaville. The Authority has received and accepted for review an unsolicited proposal under the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act or PPEA, and intends to evaluate the proposal. The Authority may negotiate an interim or comprehensive agreement with the proposer based on the proposal. The Authority will accept for simultaneous consideration any competing proposals that comply with the PPEA procedures adopted by the Authority. The proposed central water system intends to serve portions of the Deltaville Community within the established Water and Sewer Service Area. Copies of the submitted unsolicited proposal(s) shall be available upon request, subject to the provisions of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Code of Virginia Code, and the adopted PPEA policy of the Authority.
