Public Key Infrastructure Audit Services
The Department of Central Management Services is issuing an invitation for bid to establish an agency specific contract for PKI audit services. The Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) operates under the auspices of the Electronic Commerce and Security Act (5 ILCS 175). Part 105.50 of the Administrative Code for the E.C.S.A. requires that an audit meeting SAS 70 type 2 requirements be performed annually to ensure conformance with policy and to provide assurance that the infrastructure is being managed in a satisfactory and trustworthy manner. This annual audit is also required by the Federal government to maintain our cross-certification with the Federal PKI bridge.
