Public Health Inspection Practices in Childcare, Ontario Public Health Association
The intent of this project is to identify opportunities in the field of public health inspection that will address children's
health and environment issues in child care facilities, day cares and before-and-after-school programs. To achieve this, the consultant will:
- investigate existing public health inspection practices which prevent and minimize childhood exposures to contaminants in child care facilities, day cares and before-and-after school programs,
- identify opportunities and barriers for preventing and minimizing exposures, and
- identify opportunities to improve knowledge and build capacity amongst public health inspectors in Ontario
