Public Awareness Campaign
The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) has a long history of extensive public involvement in its various programs and an experienced communications team. However, there is still a large segment of the region's population that is unaware of the importance of the Commission's work and of the impact of the agency's actions on their lives. Therefore, DVRPC is seeking consultant assistance from a marketing, advertising or public relations firm, or a team of firms. The overall goal is to create a multi-faceted, multi-media public relations campaign that will produce a cohesive message that can be re-interpreted for various audiences. The project should also produce measurable results in public awareness that builds grassroots support for DVRPC and its programs. This project will include working with DVRPC staff on both the executive and project management levels to come to an understanding of what the Commission's message should be and where it should be directed.
