Pubic Outreach Web Platform Consulting
The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Board) is performing Market Research for engagement with expert consultants with extensive experience in web technologies, including cloud, site hosting, content delivery networks, and government agency and security requirements to provide an analysis of the Board's current web platform and to develop a needs assessment and recommendation for the future state of the Board's public website. Consultant would conduct interviews with a variety of web content providers and editors, technology staff, and management as part of the engagement.
The technology used to host, protect, and publish the Board's public website must be upgraded and enhanced in order to incorporate newer technologies, withstand malicious attacks, and to publish and manage tens of thousands of files, including market-sensitive and FOMC information and data. The Board does not currently utilize cloud or content delivery networks to manage the site.
