Psychiatric Services
The purpose of this RFP is to obtain the services of a qualified psychiatrist or firm, licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia, to provide and administer for the Regional Adult Detention Center professional psychiatric services to those male and female detainees confined to the Regional Jail. Services may be provided by a licensed Psychiatrist or a Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Services may be provided by a Physician’s Assistant with at least two years of psychiatric experience. Services provided by a Physician’s Assistant must be in collaboration with and under the supervision of a licensed physician. Services provided by a Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner must be in collaboration with a licensed physician.
