Provide Locum Tenens Services
The County is seeking, through a competitive process, statements of qualifications from one or more organizations that are qualified Physician Recruitment Consultants. Physician Recruitment Consultants are retained by the Department under contract to provide temporary psychiatrist staffing.
The qualified consultant shall:
A. Source,screen and present potential Providers as appropriate.
B. Use its best efforts to present Providers acceptable to County.
C. Reimburse Provider(s) for his/her fees.
D. Provide malpractice insurance coverage through its insurance carrier for any and all Provider(s) provided by Contractor to County.
E. Verify or assist in obtaining Provider licensure, as necessary.
F. Allow County to retain patient revenue generated by any locum tenens Provider(s) placed by Contractor.
G. Pay for provider travel and lodging costs.
