Solicitation Number DTFAEN-15-R-00124 b Provide Janitorial Services at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Building, Tampa International Airport, Tampa, Florida.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Acquisition Service Area, Atlanta Acquisition Office, AAQ-510ATL, College Park, Georgia has a new requirement to provide Janitorial Services at the FAA Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Building, Tampa International Airport, Tampa, Florida and all work shall be in accordance with the attached Scope of Work.

The lowest price technically acceptable source selection process will be used to meet the FAAbs criteria. This procurement is intended to result in an award of a firm-fixed price contract.

This requirement is offered to all qualified, responsive concerns and offers will be considered using a tiered order of precedence. First tier 8(a) Socially, Economically, and Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB); Second tier Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB); Third tier Small Businesses; and Fourth tier Large Businesses as described in Part IV b Section M, Evaluation Factors for Award.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561720, Janitorial Services covering contractors with a size standard of $16.5 million.

Performance Period: Base year with four (4) one-year options.

Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to allow sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at the FAA Southern Region Headquarters. Overnight delivery of responses to this solicitation may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at the Southern Region Headquarters.

The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to the SIR, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding to this announcement.

This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts.
