Eglin Air Force Base (AFB) FL has a requirement for a Protective Coating Maintenance (Painting) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract on Eglin AFB FL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement 238320 (Painting and Wall Covering Contractors) and size standard of $15M. This procurement will be set aside for 8(a) Small Business Concerns.


Under this contract, the contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment and all operations to provide interior and exterior protective coating Maintenance for Eglin AFB, FL. Work shall be provided on an "as required" IDIQ task order basis. This work includes applying protective coating to the interior and exterior of base facilities after cleaning surfaces to remove dirt, mildew, fungus, and other foreign matter. Performance period is one year for the Basic contract plus four (4) One-Year options.


The work is located at Eglin AFB FL, Duke Field FL, and the surrounding Eglin AFB reservation which includes Okaloosa, Walton, and Santa Rosa Counties. The magnitude of proposed construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 for the Basic plus four (4) One-Year option years combined.


This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on www.fbo.gov on or about 20 August 2019. The solicitation will be # FA2823-19-RA047. No response to this notice is necessary and no source list will be maintained. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/)) prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in SAM will render your firm ineligible for award. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for a timely award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
