Protective Clothing for DPW Personnel
the City of Springfield and its' Department of Public Works
is seeking bids for protective clothing for DPW personnel.
The clothing includes rainsuits, sweatshirts, tee shirts, gloves, coveralls and safety glasses. Items will be purchased on an as needed basis. The estimated annual cost is approximately $ 30,000.00. This agreement is for one year with an option to renew for a second and third year at the sole discretion of the City. All inquiries should reference the bid number 10-187 and the opening date November 16, 2009.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
