Proposals for use and operation of International Center

The Port is soliciting proposals for future use and operation of the International Center. The Port is seeking an experienced and well capitalized tenant to lease the facility for a purpose to be determined by the lessee OR an experienced and qualified management firm to operate the facility as a meeting and banquet facility. THE PORT WILL SELECT ONLY ONE PROPOSAL FROM THE PROPOSALS SUBMITTED FOR BOTH OPTIONS, DETERMINED ON THE PROPOSAL THAT PROVIDES THE MAXIMUM BENEFIT TO THE PORT.
A pre-submission conference and tour of the Ortiz Center will be held at 402 Harbor Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas, on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. CST. Although attendance is voluntary, it is strongly recommended.
Interested parties may obtain the Request for Proposal packet from the office of the Director of Operations at the Port's offices located at 222 Power Street, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78401.
Proposals must be delivered to the attention of Anthony C. Alejandro, Director of Operations, at the Port's offices located at 222 Power Street, Corpus Christi, Texas no later than Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. CST in order to be considered.
