The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) sponsors an Annual Meeting and Exposition that attracts 32,000-35,000 attendees each year. The conference offers five days of scientific programs, ranging from workshops to major lectures, exhibits, (including association exhibits), scientific posters, committee meetings, and social functions. The Society's Annual Meeting is considered the most important annual forum for the neuroscience research community. SfN is a nonprofit membership based organization of basic scientists and physicians who study the brain and nervous system. Neuroscience includes the study of brain development, sensation and perception, learning and memory, movement, sleep, stress, aging and neurological and psychiatric disorders.
