The goal of the Citys website is to be a resource for the community and to enhance customer service through technology. The website frequently serves as the primary introduction to the city. It is critical that the image presented be professional, service oriented and useable. While the City offers much information on its website, redesigning the site would greatly improve our ability to offer services, communicate, and streamline processes by utilizing the full potential of the website.
The City Councils Work Plan includes a review of the Citys website. Key topics to be addressed include its efficiency and effectiveness as a resource for the community. As a result, the City of Manhattan Beach invites proposals from qualified providers for the City of Manhattan Beach Website
redesign project. The project will consist of the following components:
A. Website Redesign
B. Intranet Website Redesign
C. Content Management Solution for the Citys Internet and Intranet sites
D. Frequently Asked Questions Database
E. Subscription to City Notifications i.e. email
F. Citizen Request Management Solution
Multiple contracts will be awarded; vendors are encouraged to respond in one or more of the components based on their core competency. The winning vendor is to provide a turn key solution for the respective component and should integrate with all components proposed for the website.
