Property Insurance Program
SCOPE AND BACKGROUND: The Office is seeking to establish
purchasing agreements with one or more companies that can provide a Property Insurance Program.
CONTRACT PERIOD: Contracts arising from this request for proposal will be for a period of three (3)
years. Proposed start date will be July 1, 2010. The terms of the policy and the policy rates shall be
reviewed on an annual basis.
The State program currently combines three historically distinct areas of property coverage: real and
personal property, boiler and machinery, and electronic data processing equipment. We prefer to
continue to combine all three areas into a single program and will view favorably those proposals that
accomplish this. However, it is not required that any proposal do so. It is acceptable to quote on one
or two or all three areas of coverage.
