Program Support Services
The U.S. Army, Technology Applications Office (TAO) develops, acquires, and deploys tactical and non-tactical information technology systems and communications products and services. TAO is a center of excellence for systems acquisition, development, and integration of IT products and services. TAO’s 65-person staff is uniquely task organized with organic project management, contracting, finance, security, information technology, and logistics cells to provide fast, efficient, secure, and discreet acquisition services for other Government organizations. Despite its small size, TAO processes a high volume of acquisitions, ranging in size from a minor credit card purchases to multi-million dollar contracts.
