Professional counselors to provide Employee Assistance Program services
The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is seeking services of a group of professional counselors to be contracted to:
I. Provide a comprehensive confidential counseling and referral service for City employees and their families.
II. Increase awareness of existing problems through supervisory training. Areas to be addressed may include but are not necessarily limited to:
Marital and Family Relationships
Substance Abuse
Stress (job related and other)
Interpersonal Relationships
Financial
III. Provide training required to furnish supervisors with the basic information needed to detect problems and to prepare those supervisors to take appropriate actions. Specialized training may be required such as DOT reasonable suspicion training.
IV. Provide data to enable the City to measure the effectiveness of the Employee Assistance Program.
V. Provide promotional materials needed to increase employee awareness of EAP services.
VI. Consult by telephone, email or in person with supervisors needing assistance with employee issues.
