Student Conservation Association (SCA) seeks an individual to work under the direction of the Education and Curriculum Director to write and review of the SCA field guide to better communicate SCA's techniques and tools for working with youth and volunteer populations. The SCA Field Guide fosters programmatic quality, safety, and consistency of implementation for SCA staff, leaders, and volunteers by defining policies and procedures and providing resources for use in the field. This project's aim it to produce 2 versions of the Field Guide. One that will be ready and available to the general public and can be viewed as a companion piece to Lightly on the Land, and the second will remain an internal working document that SCA staff will update annually to enhance the field experience of our future programs. The aim is that the content that will be added to both documents will be focused on promoting positive youth development, creating inclusive programming and can be easily followed.
