THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR OFFER TO AWARD.

The 673d Contracting Squadron is seeking architect-engineering (A-E) firms interested in providing professional A-E services for Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska.  The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice.  All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party's expense. Non-responsive firms are not precluded from participation in any future solicitation.

The work may include:



(1) Professional services of an A-E nature, as defined by State law, if applicable, that are required to be performed or approved by a person licensed, registered, or certified to provide those services.



(2) Professional services of an A-E nature that are associated with research, planning, development, design, construction, alteration, or repair of real property.


(3) Other professional services of an A-E nature including studies, investigations, surveying and mapping, tests, evaluations, consultations, comprehensive planning, program management, conceptual designs, plans and specifications, value engineering, construction phase services, soils engineering, drawing reviews, preparation of operating and maintenance manuals, and other related services.


Services may be required at JBER or other military installations within the State of Alaska.  The A-E firm shall be responsible for all travel and lodging arrangements and expenses involved in the performance of work under any subsequent contract.

Contractors doing business with the federal government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).  Firms can obtain further information on the SAM at https://www.sam.gov. ; The SAM is an official website of the U.S. government.  There is no cost to use SAM. You can use this site for FREE to register to do business with the U.S. government, update or renew your entity registration, check status of an entity registration, and search for entity registration and exclusion records.

Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes are 541310, Architectural Design Services or 541330, Engineering Services.

Interested A-E firms are encouraged to submit a completed Standard Form 330, Part II only, by email to the points of contact identified in this notice.

The 673d Contracting Squadron will use responses to identify interested and qualified firms for potential future acquisitions and acquisition planning purposes.  Please submit your respond no later than 30 June 2017 @ 4:00pm AKDT unless changed by amendment.
