Professional Engineering Services For Independent Consulting Engineer For The Resource Recovery System

The County Public Utilities Department desires to establish an agreement with a nationally recognized independent consulting engineer to perform services required by the covenants contained in County Ordinance No. 06-28 with special reference to the knowledge or experience of such consulting engineer in the design, operation and maintenance of solid waste disposal and resource recovery facilities and in determining economic feasibility. The Independent Consulting Engineer may act on behalf of Hillsborough County to conduct inspections, prepare reports, monitor testing, attend meetings, review and certify budgets, rates, modifications or improvements with respect to the County's Solid Waste Disposal and Resource Recovery System. This is a miscellaneous work-order based contract for a 5 year period at $1,500,000 with work order limits at $300,000 each.
