Professional Development Scholarship Program for Early Childhood Professionals
The State is seeking offers for a grantee to administer the Professional Development Scholarship Program for Early Childhood Professionals (the “Program”) through partnerships with eligible providers and Texas community colleges. The grant will fund two (2) types of scholarship programs: 2.6.1 the Child Development Associate (CDA) or Certified Child Care Professional (CCP) Assessment Scholarship Program; and 2.6.2 the Associate Degree Scholarship Program. The Program will assist eligible providers to work toward certification to become a Texas Rising Star (TRS) provider by meeting Criterion III Caregiver Staff Qualifications.
