The Society and Museum is requesting proposals from qualified architectural/engineering firms to provide design services for the project described.


Project goals established during the visioning process include:
 Dedicated education program and community gathering space.
 Implementation of the final phase of the Master Exhibit Plan exhibit renovations.
 Site redesign, expanding outdoor exhibits to fully integrate the Museum into its 9.3-
acre green space.
 Expanded collections storage space for research, collections conservation and
exhibit preparation.
 Full Americans with Disability Act compliance.
 Increased building system efficiency for long-term energy efficiency
