The Army Contracting Command - Redstone proposes to issue solicitation number W58RGZ-19-R-0287 for a new five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract. This requirement is for the purchase of components for PM Air Warrior in support of Personnel Recovery Support Equipment (PRSE). The action is for the production and delivery of active Transceiver Field Unit (TFU) assemblies, and associated engineering support as required. Pursuant to 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)" Only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". This proposed contract action for hardware and engineering services requirements which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source: Benchmark Electronic, Inc., 3535 Technology Drive, NW, Rochester, MN 55901-7687, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code: ITD06.
Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit a proposal. This is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
