Produce Watering System, Portable
This solicitation is for the procurement of portable watering systems to allow easy access to water plants inside and outside the commissary. Portable watering systems are to be delivered to Defense Commissary Agency commissaries in the Continental United States and overseas locations excluding Europe. For overseas locations, with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii, the contractor will only be responsible for preparation for overseas shipment and delivery to the port. Contractor will be responsible for shipment to Alaska and Hawaii locations directly. The Period of Performance is a 12 month period from date of award (base period) with four 12 month option periods. The solicitation and resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about July 7, 2014 with a tentative closing date of August 7, 2014. The anticipated award date is October 1, 2014. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333318 and the business size standard is 1,000 employees. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of any contract resulting from the solicitation to include listing NAICS Code 333318 in the database. All responsible business sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
