This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.
The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to Metro Medical Supply, Inc. Nashville, TN, 37228, on a sole source basis to procure the pharmaceutical Bedaquiline, trade name Sirturo® as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the Pharmacy Department, NIH, Clinical Center. The Government intends to include a base Period of 12 months and four (4) 12 month Option Periods in the IDIQ Contract. Purchase of Sirturo® (bedaquiline) 100 mg tablets. Sirturo® is a diarylquinoline antimycobacterial drug indicated as part of combination therapy in adults with pulmonary multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). The manufacturer of Sirturo® (Janssen Therapeutics) has designated Metro Medical as their only specialty distributor.
This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12 in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements in FAR Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
