Procurement of Niobium (Nb) and Niobium Titanium (Nb55Ti) in support of the collaboration for SLAC's Linac Coherent Light Source II (LCLS-II) Project.
This procurement is specifically for the acquisition of Niobium (Nb) and Niobium Titanium (Nb55Ti) to support the LCLS-II Project. It needs to be highlighted that the Nb and Nb55Ti are long-lead procurements that are necessary for the production of the Cavities for the production of the Cryomodules. The Nb and Nb55Ti must be awarded no later than 10/31/14 and all deliveries are due by 11/30/15. For these items to be procured, it is anticipated that they will be dual-sourced or split between two vendors or suppliers.
The enclosed Request for Proposal (RFP) will show the Evaluation Criteria as well as the other requirements for this procurement.
