Private Partner Sought to Advance Ampitheatre Development
The Center is seeking a private sector partner to advance the development of the 8,500 seat Pacific Ampitheatre that sits on the 150 acre home of the eighth largest fair in the United States and over 100 events annually.
The first step in the process is to survey the concert/live entertainment industry to determine current opportunities for the Pacific Amphitheatre's growth and development. This RFI's goal is to assist OCFEC in determining the venue's best fit in the market as well as to begin identifying potential partners willing to invest
expertise and resources. A public-private partnership will be key to the future success of the amphitheatre.
The partner, selected through a subsequent RFP process, would propose a model of management, programming and facility configuration, including an investment partnership in any capital improvements necessary to meet the programming needs. The partner would also propose a model that assures the highest and most certain return.
