Printing Activity Guides

The Parks & Recreation Department is seeking proposals for the printing of activity guides for distribution in Harrisonburg and surrounding areas. This publication is produced and mailed three times during the year, with the option of increasing or decreasing the number of copies as well as the number of pages.
Specific Requirements
Typeset - The page layout and design will be done by the vendor. Harrisonburg Parks & Recreation will provide the data for the project in Microsoft WORD format. Data will be provided on a disc and will include separate documents for various categories such as Athletics, Dance, Gymnastics, Parks, etc.
Required photos, logos, and clip art will be provided in JPEG or TIFF format. The layout designer has the option of providing clip art with approval by the Parks & Recreation Department.
Printing - The guide is to be four pages in 4 color and 12 pages in 2 color. Between 20,000-25,000 copies shall be printed on 8/12 x 11, and shall be folded and saddle stitched. The paper for the guide will be bid out using three (3) options:
#60 uncoated white paper - all pages
#80 gloss cover/back pages and #60 uncoated white paper inside pages
#80 gloss - all pages
