Print Management Solution

The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) and any resulting contract award is to solicit proposals for a Print Management / Pay For Print Solution meeting the technical specifications and requirements specified in this RFP. The College will initially install this solution at ten (10) locations. The college has over 150 locations where, at some later date, this print management solution may be deployed. The college's intent is to acquire a solution that will authenticate current students, staff, faculty and guests using a database technology that will allow them to use print machine stations at college locations. The users may also print using client computers located in four college Libraries. The users will be charged an amount per click (as set by college ) which will be taken out of an account associated to their student ID number, employee number or similar. The users should also be able to add money to this account through a type of value add station also at college locations. New student users would potentially be added every semester and other users would be added throughout the year. Historically, college has approximately 15,000 students per semester, and 900 faculty and staff that could potentially use the print/copy services. The hardware for this solution will be at a centralized location at college . college personnel will manage the solution after installation and implementation.
