ANNUAL MAINTENANCE ON A STERRAD 100S
This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order and is not a request for competitive quote. The acquisition will be processed in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures as stated in FAR part 12. The North American Industry Classification system code is 811219 and the business size standard is $19.M.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center intends to solicit a quote, on a competitive basis and enter into a purchase order with Advance Sterilization a division of Johnson and Johnson Healthcare System).The period of performance May 27, 2014 through May 26, 2015, with 2 option years.
Johnson and Johnson Healthcare System is the only known vendor who can provide continued and uninterrupted maintenance for the Sterrad 100S needed to ensure the sterilization machine is working properly that is essential to the sterilization process. Without this system patients can be put at risk if the instruments are not properly sterilized in the machine.
The Government shall consider all responses received prior to the close date of this announcement. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish bonafide capability to fulfill the requirements established above.
