The Social Security Administration is seeking information on the availability of Qualified Small Business Contractors to provide on-site and telephone support for the bi-annual preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs 24/7/365 days for the SMS2410 Wedge Barrier Systems and their related equipment. The contractor should be able to supply qualified and certified technicians and materials necessary to support and maintain the security barrier systems and their related components for the Office Disability, Adjudication and Review (ODAR) located at 5107 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church VA. These barriers and their related equipment safeguard government property and personnel and are required to be operational at all times. The contractor shall also be able to provide, (1) bi-annual preventative maintenance service to all equipment including electronic components, (2) provide telephone support to identify and resolve technical problems on a 24/7/365 basis, and to provide (3) unscheduled repairs necessary to ensure the safety of the facility with an on-site response time of 6 hours or less,-24/7/365. The following is identified as prospective equipment that may be covered. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov prior to award of a contract. Interested concerns that believe they have the capability to meet the above requirements are invited to submit complete details as to their abilities to fulfill this requirement. The responses must include capabilities statements and information describing in full detail how they can meet these requirements. Please do not submit advertisements as proof of your capabilities. Interest parties shall email their statements to Linda.Seidle@ssa.gov. Responses shall be received no later than 2:00 PM EDT on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Telephone calls regarding this notice will not be accepted or returned. The government will not pay for or return any information received. This is neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Information received is for the purpose of determining whether there are business firms that! have the capability to provide these services and shall be provided to at no cost to the government.
