The National Park Service, Midwest Region Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), is issuing this solicitation to request proposals to for work on (Eleven) Six over Six and (Four) Three over Six double hung wood windows at Fort Larned National Historic Site.

The work consists of:
- Removal of lead paint from windows friction points and encapsulate remaining areas of the window frame
- Repair wood elements of window frames and sills in accordance with treatment description of Preservation Brief #09
- Remove and replace parting bead and stops reproducing the profile and dimension of existing
- Repair wood element of the window sashes
- Bed and glaze glass panes and apply three coats of finish paint

Work is to be performed on the park's Commanding Officers Quarters.

THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.

Type of Contract: One (1) Firm-Fixed Price Contract will be awarded on a best value basis.

NAICS CODE: 238350 - (Finish Carpentry Contractors).The small business standard is $15M.

In accordance with FAR 36.204(b) the Project Magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000.

PAYMENT PROTECTIONS: A bid bond (SF- 24) at 20 percent of the bid price. A performance bond (SF-25) and payment bond (SF-25a) will be required 100% of the contract price and insurance will be required for this project.

Proposals shall be received no later than 16:00 PM CST, May 3, 2019.
Proposals shall be emailed to Adam Kircher at adam_kircher@nps.gov, hardcopies will not be accepted. Proposal shall be clearly marked with solicitation number 140P6019R0008 and the offerors DUNS number and CAGE code under which the offer is made..

REQUIRED SUBMISSION DOCUMENTS:
1. Completed Section B of Solicitation (Include an itemized breakdown for each CLIN item to include labor hours, material, overhead, and profit.)
2. Signed SF-1442
3. Review all required vendor completed sections within the solicitation document and provide all requested documents and information in section L of the solicitation.
4. Estimated project schedule.
