Prepare a conceptual roadway design and streetscape plan

The City is requesting proposals from qualified firms
(consultant/design team) to prepare a conceptual roadway design and streetscape plan
for a major arterial and commercial area. The resulting Streetscape Plan must have the broadbased
support of the community, and will be used as the basis for final construction bid
documents for an $8 million to $12 million capital improvement project, including a full
range of streetscape components, from new paving, to bike lanes, sidewalk and street
lighting, signage, flood control and drainage, and parking management (see Table 1 for
details) The focus of this project is on the public realm not land use, zoning or design
standards for buildings along the street.
