Preparation of a Unified Development Ordinance
The City of Raleigh, North Carolina is requesting proposals for qualified planning consultants to prepare a conventional Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The UDO consists of the zoning ordinance, site plan and subdivision ordinance.
The City of Raleigh desires to produce development regulations that address contemporary development and zoning practices; are easily understood by administrators, the public, and the development community; and support the goals and policies of the new Comprehensive Plan, anticipated to be approved by the summer of 2009.
