Synopsis:
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Knox intends to issue a request for quotation (RFQ) to procure laundry, dry cleaning and alteration services for US Army Junior ROTC cadets for the Philadelphia area JROTC program. The NAICS Code is 812320 and the size standard is $5.0 million. The period of performance will be 1 August 2014 through 31July 2015 with four one-year option periods. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The RFQ will be posted to the FedBizOpps web site at https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 7 July 2014. This date is subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to the FedBizOpps website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted. Solicitation mailing list will not be compiled. The solicitation and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. This action is set-aside for small business. All responsible and responsive small businesses may submit an offer for consideration. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of a contract. CCR is now obsolete. Offerors shall ensure SAM registration is active and shall not assume that CCR information automatically migrated to the SAM system. Contractors are encouraged to complete SAM registration as soon as possible; the government may not delay award for the purpose of allowing a contractor time to register in SAM.
