Pre-Plated Meals and Food Management Services
The district is seeking responses to the following items from qualified and experienced vendors.
1. Option 1: Pre-plated meals for PK-8 schools.
2. Option 2: Pre-plated meals and food management services to include:
A. Pre-plated meals for PK-8 schools.
B. Food management services including standardizing operations; implementing financial reporting; training employees on new systems including accounting cost controls, menu planning, food supply acquisition, daily ordering, and warehousing; managing pre-plate vendors; commodities; and product marketing. Payment for services rendered under Option 2 will be based on meeting performance objectives including returning the district to profitability.
All productions and services must be provided in accordance with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations, district policies, and Wellness Policy guidelines and must include consideration for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), After-School Care Snack Program (ASCSP), and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
