Pre-Commercial Hand Thinning

Project Description:
Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requireing both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about July 21, 2014.
Description: The contractor shall provide services for pre-commercial hand thinning activities on the Hayfork Ranger District, South Fork Management Unit (SFMU)on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Pre-commercial thinning activities consist of thinning plantations that originated in the early 1980's.
Unless otherwise provided, the contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, suprervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project.
Location: This project will be located on the Hayfork Ranger District, South Fork Management Unit, Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
Price Range: Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding CA 96002,
NO LATER than 3:30 p.m. PDT on the date indicated on the solicitation.
SAM REGRISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCT) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
