Power Supply Test Transition for 5700
Modernization to power supply test equipment is required due to obsolescence of the current test equipment. The current model 8100 power supply testers will no longer be supported after 2017. In order to maintain test capability for existing power supplies the contractor shall transition test capability to the NH Research 5700 Series Power Supply Tester. Operational proofing will be performed for each.
Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
