Post Adoption and Post Guardianship Services
In May 2009, The Nebraska Legislature passed LB 603, providing for the creation of postadoption
and post-guardianship services for adoptive and guardianship families of children
who were wards of the state as defined in Section 8 of the bill and in Section C, Project
Requirements below. The declaration of such services provides the framework for this RFP.
This RFP will result in a twenty-one (21) month contract with the option to renew for an
additional two year agreement. The bidder will be required to submit a cost proposal which
must be submitted on Attachment A and include the following:
1. Flat rate for the first three months of the contract, to allow for development of services;
2. Flat rate for ongoing administrative costs, including staff, transportation, phone line,
office space, etc.; and
3. Cost per direct service to families, with a maximum payment per family.
