NASA is soliciting information to conduct market research. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), the information requested is for planning purposes only and is not intended to bind the Government.The NASA Physics of the Cosmos Program Office requests information about potential U.S. contributions to the LISA Laser Assembly. The U.S. contribution may consist of a complete Laser Assembly or laser subsystems. While possible contributions may not be limited to these items, all contributions must support the development of the LISA Laser Assembly. NASA is interested in contributions that enhance the science return of the mission and that utilize unique U.S. expertise. This Request for Information (RFI) specifically requests information regarding a Laser Head, also known as a Master Oscillator Power Amplifier (MOPA) for use as a subsystem in the complete LISA Laser Assembly.

This information will be used to inform NASA's program planning, including consideration of whether to competitively solicit NASA-funded U.S. contributions to the LISA Laser Assembly. A response to this RFI is requested so that NASA's program planning can be informed using all relevant information.
