Four (4) Air cooled portable x-ray systems
The Non-Destructive Inspection Branch (76th AMXG/MXDEN) inspects B-1, B-52, E-3, E6, and KC-135 using radiography. The industrial X-ray system is used to image aircraft and/or aircraft components. The following Technical Manuals require stationary radiography: 1B-1B-36, 1C-135-36, 1E-3A-36, 1B-52h-36, and A1-E6AAB-SRM-300. The need for replacement of 2 current Water cooled portable X-ray systems because of normal use and outdated technology
