Police Station Project
The City is accepting bids for Bid Release 3 from General Contractors for the Police Department. The City is looking to move its Police Station from its current 10361 Rockingham Drive location to a City-owned building at 2897 Kilgore Road. Additionally, the City is planning to move its Police department storage and light automotive repairs operation from its current Rockingham location to 2880 Gold Tailings Drive. The City expects to completely renovate the interior to meet the needs of the Police Department. The scope of work will include Site Fencing, Glass and Glazing, Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic, Flag Poles and Window Coverings. The City expects to achieve a LEED CI Silver certification for the remodeled space.
