This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. US Army Joint Base Religious Support Office has a requirement for a chapel musician for Protestant services at the main post chapel at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals using Best Value-Lowest Price Technically Acceptable selection procedure with the following technical factors: 

1. Ability to read sheet music
2. Musical Proficiency: 
           a. Sub-factor: Pianist skill
           b. Sub-factor: Organ skill
3. Communication:
           a. Sub-factor: Oral communication skill
           b. Sub-factor: Written communication skill

A firm fixed-price contract award will be made in accordance with the:


1. Schedule of Services;
2. Performance Work Statement;
3. Special Instructions;
4. Provisions and Clauses


Offerors shall respond with required documents via email to the primary contract specialist, Briana M. Watkins at the following address:
briana.m.watkins.civ@mail.mil no later than 11:00 AM PT on 16 September 2019.


Questions regarding this solicitation shall be directed to the primary Contract Specialist via email to the address above, no later than 11:00 AM PT on 11 September 2019.
Questions received later may not provide sufficient time for adequate response.


Auditions will be held on September 12, 2019 from 9:00 AM PT to 12:00 PM PT.

All auditions will be in person.
