Physical Security Enhancements
The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Bogota has a requirement to provide security enhancements to an existing building at the Colombian Navy Installation (Armanda Nacional-Cuarta Brigada de Infanteria de Marina Batallon Fluvial de Infanteria de Marina No. 70) located in Tumaco, Narino, Colombia. This installation can only be accessed by vehicle, boat or plane. Site visit is mandatory. This construction project shall be accomplished in Colombia and all projects shall abide by Colombian laws. A complete and detailed description of the project, completion date and site visit details/instructions will be provided in the actual solicitation.
Contract award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation and FAR Part 36 Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The solicitation is projected to be posted on ASFI/FBO and the U.S. Embassy - Bogota contracting website on 24 July 2014 or thereafter. It is the responsibility of the prospective offeror to monitor the website for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to the solicitation.
