Photovoltaic Solar Design Consulting Services
The City of Poway
is requesting proposals for the turnkey design and engineering of a new Photovoltaic Solar System at the Poway Public
Works Operations Facility. The Photovoltaic system shall be designed to supply a minimum 90% of the current facility
demand (Attachment D). The proposal will also include preparation of an RFB document (Attachment F), and consulting
during the bid and construction phases of the project. The following information outlines the scope of work, schedule, and
criteria that will be used to judge the proposals. This project is funded under The American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act of 2009 [Special Terms and Conditions] (Attachment A), and National Policy Assurances August 2008 (Attachment B)
UTILIZING AMERICAN MADE STEEL AND LOCAL RESOURCES. The Designer awarded the project may also be
requested to review the existing Photovoltaic System on Fire Station #1 located at 13050 Community Road and provide
recommendations and design for expansion. Work will be performed based on Operations Center Photovoltaic Solar
