THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY: It is not a Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, an Invitation for Bids, a Solicitation, or an indication the HRCO will contract for the services contained in this notice. This notice is part of a Government market research effort to determine the scope of industry capabilities and interest and will be treated as information only. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses to this notice are strictly voluntary and the government will not pay respondents for information provided in response to this notice. Responses to this notice will not be returned and respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. This notice does not restrict the Government's acquisition approach on any resultant solicitation.


Description of Requirement: : The United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) has a recurring requirement for the purchase of a twelve (12) month lease of approximately seventy (70) Philips HeartStart OnSite Defibrillators (brand name or equal). The leased equipment must be delivered to Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) throughout the U.S. The contractor will retain ownership of the leased equipment and remain responsible for all service, maintenance and replacement of the AED parts during the lease period. All maintenance and service must be provided onsite at the Government's facility where the defibrillators is located.


The government anticipates the award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm fixed price CLINS to support this requirement. Delivery Orders will be placed as requirements are identified throughout the ordering period. The estimated ordering period is from 1 August 2019 to 31 July 2024.



All respondents interested in providing the required equipment should provide the following information, at a minimum: company name, address, point of contact, cage code, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, capability statement and business size as it relates to NAICS code 621511 - Medical Laboratories.



Submit responses no later than Thursday, 17 January 2019 at 12:00 PM (CST) to Ms. Diahann C. Watson, Contract Specialist at diahann.c.watson2.civ@mail.mil and Ms. Dawn E. Simington, Contracting Officer at dawn.e.simington.civ@mail.mil. The government will NOT take any phone calls in regards to this notice, provide responses to any questions in response to this notice or provide any additional information as it relates to this notice. If a solicitation is issued, notice will be made in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
