This is a Sources Sought/Market Research synopsis. The Network Contracting Office 16 is performing market research to ascertain whether there are potential sources and their business size classification (HUB-Zone, 8(a), Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business, Women Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, or Veteran Owned Business) relative to NAICS Code 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The Contracting Office is particularly interested in identifying Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)/Veteran Owned-Small Business (VOSB) and their capability. The Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks has a requirement, and the Contracting Office is seeking potential sources to capable of providing the necessary hardware for the expansion of the Pharmacy prescription workflow equipment to support the relocation of the existing ScriptPro Pharmacy Automated Dispensing Systems to the Springfield, MO location from the Mt. Vernon, MO location. The add-on equipment must integrate with the current ScriptPro workflow system. The Robotic automatic filling, labeling and dispensing machine shall support additional workload; fill, label and collate up to 150 prescriptions per hour; separate and hold pending prescriptions. The system shall have interactive prescription verification, tracking, and management device that controls the entire dispensing process. Managers and supervisors shall be able to access local, as well as, remote Pharmacy operations and view the status of prescriptions in process. Workload and workflow shall be capable of being managed on-screen in real time. The prescription management checkpoint shall provide paperless prescription tracking for each patient. System shall count and stage medications for immediate dispensing to allow the site to fill and process local mail prescriptions. System shall have a tabletop tablet/capsule counting device that uses a visual counting system to count filled prescriptions and facilitate double counts when required. The system shall allow veterans to take a number and be called in sequence from the waiting area. The required equipment shall fully interface with the existing ScriptPro Central Workflow System that is in use. ScriptPro is the only manufacturer of the product that will fully interface with our current systems. Therefore, interested sources must be a manufacturer or distributor of the ScriptPro Dispensing System. Potential sources must be able to delivery, install, train and provide service maintenance. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. This is not a solicitation for proposals or quotes. A solicitation will issued at a later date and time. All information submitted in response to this source sought notice is considered voluntary. Interested and capable respondents are requested to provide: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number, geographical location, business size, number of employees and capability.
