Pharmacy Benefit Management Services
In accordance with Indiana statute, including IC 5-22-9, the Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA), acting on behalf of the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FFSA), requires Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services for the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP). The primary objective of this contracting initiative is to secure the services of a PBM vendor that will be responsible for all facets of the day-to-day operational administration of the Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) pharmacy benefit including managing the State's pharmacy benefit program, adjudication and payment of pharmacy claims, call center operations, prior authorizations, auditing of pharmacies and rate setting.
