Pharmaceutical Services
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit qualified and interested pharmacies to
submit proposals for filling prescriptions for inmates of the County Jail, detainees of the Juvenile
Detention Home, consumers of the Community Services Board and for County and School employees injured while in the line of duty and entitled to workers compensation. The resulting contract shall include prescription drugs, including some of the long acting depot forms of antipsychotic medicines, as well as miscellaneous over-the-counter (OTC) medications and supply items such as syringes and needles for shots. Offerors are encouraged to submit
proposals to provide services to all or part of the departments listed. The County reserves the
right to award to one or to multiple firms.
