A crucial component to the Strategy is to establish Product Listing Agreements (PLAs) with select pharmaceutical companies. These PLAs will provide Albertans covered under government-sponsored drug plans with access to innovative therapies in a timely and responsible manner to support improved health outcomes and enhanced patient care, support the best use of resources, promote best value for Albertas government-sponsored drug plans, and enable the Department to manage risk and uncertainty.
The purpose of this RFP is to retain a Vendor having a project team possessing the required project management, business process design, financial analysis expertise and pharmaceutical sector experience to support the successful deployment of the PLA framework.
